When tax is charged for an invoice from a Canadian or US based supplier, the system will check if you have your tax ID registered.
If you charge tax in your invoice but do not have your tax ID registered with CCR, the invoice will not be accepted and will return with an "Incomplete" status.
The error will show "Must register tax ID XXX to submit this tax type" for Canadian taxes.
For US taxes, the error will be “Must register SSN or FEIN to submit sales tax”.

When an invoice is returned with an "Incomplete" status, it means the invoice did not pass some validation rules set by your customer.
Your vendor information is accessible under My Details in the portal.
If you have more than one customer using the Taulia Portal and you need access to two or more accounts with the same login, you can combine your customers to one login.

You can manage your account users in the portal and provide different levels of access.
Your customer may leave a reason why an invoice is rejected, incomplete, voided and or a reason for other available statuses. It may also show you what stage of approval your invoice is in.
