Q. I am new to Taulia. What should I do first?: 000008036

Welcome!

As a new user of Taulia, you just opened a world of possibilities that will make it easier for you to transact with your customer. Best of all, Taulia is completely free to use! Some of the key features that your customer may offer through Taulia are:

  • Electronic invoicing. Invoices submitted through Taulia are placed directly in your customer's workflow or accounting system.*
  • Purchase order delivery and confirmation.*
  • Ability to monitor the status of your invoices in real-time. No more phone calls to check the status of your invoice!*
  • Receive payment remittance details.*
  • Supplier company information management.*
  • Request early payment.*
  • + more!*
*Platform feature availability is dependent on your customer's implementation of Taulia
 

This article will take through a couple of things you should do if you are new to Taulia. Before you continue, here are a couple of important tips to remember:

  1. Some features described in the Taulia support site may not be available to you. Feature availability depends on your customer.
  2. Taulia is a platform that helps you quickly send/receive data with your customer. Think of Taulia like a data delivery vehicle.
  3. Taulia does not review/approve/reject invoices. This is a process owned by your customer. Use Taulia to see the status of your invoices in real-time.
  4. Purchase Orders are not created by Taulia. If you have questions about the details of your PO, contact your customer.
  5. Payment remittances are created by your customer. If you have general payment questions, contact your customer.


To get started, select which category you fall under:



New Vendor

1 - If you are the first person to be invited to use Taulia by your customer, you are automatically set up as an account admin. The main benefit of being an admin is the ability to add/manage other users in your account.

  • Before you use Taulia, check if you need to add other users to your account. See Q. How do I add or deactivate users?. To learn about user roles, click here. Make sure to invite business critical users in your company. These are typically users in your finance, procurement, accounts receivable/payable and credit teams.
  • The user(s) you add will receive an email inviting them to use Taulia. You can have multiple admins in your account if needed. These users can also manage their email own notifications. See Q. How do I start/stop receiving email notifications?


2 - Now that you have invited users to your account, it's time to manage your own email notifications. See Q. How do I start/stop receiving email notifications?. By default, all email notifications are enabled.

3 - This 
is the most important part. Please visit the Custom FAQ section of your customer portal. Taulia is tailored to your customer's specifications on how they want their suppliers to use the platform. This page will contain features made available to you by your customer, along with other business related FAQs that your customer wants you to know. The support website (support.taulia.com) is a collection of general features that may or may not be available to you.




New User

1 - As a new user in Taulia, your abilities in the portal depends on the role type your account admin gave you. If the account admin added you with an "admin" role, the main differentiator is the ability to manage other users. Click here to learn about other user roles. 2 - Now that you successfully activated your Taulia account as a new user, it's time to manage your own email notifications. See Q. How do I start/stop receiving email notifications?. By default, all email notifications are enabled.

3 -
This is the most important part. Please visit the Custom FAQ section of your customer portal. Taulia is tailored to your customer's specifications on how they want their suppliers to use the platform.   • Need Help - If you have questions about using the portal, select "Need Help"
  • Change Client - If you have two or more customers using Taulia, use this option to switch accounts. Each of your customer(s) will have different portal use policies and features. Be sure to visit the Custom FAQ page to understand how to use Taulia specifically for your customer.
  • Settings - Options to manage your user profile, email settings, and manage other users.
  • My Details - Contains your vendor master information (address, bank accounts, tax, certifications, customer information)
  • Custom FAQ - Contains information about your customer and additional FAQs about how your customer is using Taulia.
  • Quick Access Links - Shortcuts to view POs, Invoices, etc.
  • Early Payment Offers - Invoices containing early payment offers.
  • Recent Messages - Message inbox for communications between you and your customer.
  • Latest Purchase Orders - Contains a list of new POs.

Q. How do I merge/combine my Taulia accounts into one?: 000003598

If you have more than one customer using the Taulia Portal and you need access to two or more accounts with the same login, you can combine your customers to one login.

Q. How do I add or deactivate users?: 000003731

You can manage your account users in the portal and provide different levels of access.

Q. My account is locked. How do I reset my password?: 000003590

Your account will lock if you enter your password incorrectly more than 5 times. You will need to reset your password in order to unlock your account.

Q. How do I remove line items from a PO that I currently do not want to invoice?: 000003609

Remove PO line items you are not invoicing. These line items will remain available for invoicing at a later time.

Q. How do I manage my invoice compliance details?: 000003624

Some European suppliers require to have the compliance saved prior to invoice submission.

Q. How do I create an invoice from a purchase order (eFlip)?: 000003324

Create an invoice against a PO through the portal.
