Q. How do I record my screen?: 000008516

You may be asked by a support agent to record your screen as your using Taulia for troubleshooting purposes. You can easily record your screen by doing the following:




1 - Launch QuickTime Player (located in /Applications/)

2 - Pull down the File menu and select “New Screen Recording” screen recording mac.

3 - Press the Red button to start recording the screen activity.

4 - To stop recording, either press the Stop Recording button in the menubar, or hit Command+Control+Escape.

5 - Once the recording is stopped, the capture is automatically opened in QuickTime Player as “Screen Recording.mov” which you can then save and use as you’d like. You send can send this recording to the support agent.

Open Problem Steps Recorder by clicking the Start button, and then typing psr. In the list of results, click psr. This will appear.

2 - Click Start Record. Go through the steps on a computer to reproduce the problem. It is possible to pause the recording at any time, and then resume it later.

3 - Click Stop Record.

4 - In the Save As dialog box, type a name for the file, and then click Save (the file is saved with the .zip file name extension)

5 - To view the record of the recorded steps, open saved .zip file, and then double-click the file. The document will open in browser. You can attach this file to send to the support agent.
